Just how old is too old to be a bride?
I only pose that question as it was mentioned not so long ago that " at my age, late 40's.... with no children to be a mother of the bride.... and being already married I have no business attaining the BlogSpot name of Sweetheart Bride.
I guess I could get a Sweetheart Bride blog address and write about raising turtles if I wanted....right? I just thought having a name like that would be fitting if I wanted to post things bridal related.
And as far as I know... Nuptials know no age barriers.
I didn't know when I got married that I had to turn in my Fun keys at the church door on the way out. Sorry Tess, your married now... no more talking about wedding cake flavors with buttercream frosting...no more looking at wedding gowns....flowers and forget about honeymoon destinations.
I'm not trying to be an authority of all things weddings....as it was pointed out to me, I am not going to be a bride anytime soon. Been there....still doing that, and anyone who stays married for as long as I have should be as happy as I am.
But that doesn't mean I don't have anyone close to me who isn't going to be a bride either...or that I don't have an interest in it.
So this page is going to be a place for posting all things Brides. With a pinch of Love....a touch of chiffon and a spoonful of buttercream I plan on channeling my inner Sweetheart.
Sweetheart Bride that is.
